The Digital Bay Management project is an open-source custom software project utilizing Design Thinking and Agile Methodologies to analyze data and create business efficiencies within a physical mine maintenance facility within the energy sector. As part of the Digital Transformation project within the large enterprise organization, I was contracted to handle UX and Design Thinking aspects of the traditional business processes and create a custom digital software project with a team of developers using Vue.JS and various technologies including SAP.

The Vue.js front-end allows Technicians within the mine maintenance facility to respond to their assigned tasks for each shift. By utilizing the tablets and software, data was pulled form SAP over a custom API and then users in the process of their work constantly input data that could be analyzed and monitored by other Technicians, Shop Supervisors, Maintenance Coordinators, and C-level Executive to understand their business in a more efficient way.

Supervisors have alternate views to see various levels in real-time of the work happening within their facility at any time.
